College Football Week 8 Recap
Week 8 of the college football season looked like it was going to be one of those weeks that got forgotten over the course of the season. With zero top 2 teams playing each other, that wasn’t exactly the case as we got several close games and surprising upsets. On a rare Wednesday night game, previously unbeaten Coastal Carolina fell to instate rival Appalachian state. In one of the best games of the year so far, Illinois beat #7 Penn state in an unprecedented nine overtimes leading to Penn State falling 13 spots in the rankings.
